sorority gpa requirement
by: oopsI'm a freshman going in to my spring semester and I failed one class last semester. I was thinking of doing spring rush. Do the sororities actually ask for your GPA in order to be accepted? How strict is the policy for freshmen / new recruits?

Check Panhellenic's site for minimum GPA requirements. I think it ranges from 2.5-2.8 for absolute minimum. Most of the sororities will probably ask for GPA when you fill out info sheets, but I don't think anyone knows how much it's taken into consideration. (But definitely high GPA will help PNMs)
