Almost certainly doing Spring:

Theta, Gamma Phi, Tri Delt, Zeta, AXO

The rest will probably announce over the winter break. If you're not sure just email them the first week in Jan. Some don't announce it.

Hey Maggie,

Where do they usual announce who is doing COB? On their individual facebook pages or the panhellenic website?

Just to update - these chapters have all posted publicly (on chapter FB pages or the PHC website) that they are indeed doing spring recruitment. Sigma Kappa is as well.

A phi has had a few cob spots open this semester but I doubt they'll do a full blown spring rush. Try emailing them directly

So excited! I heard they have spots open too! Are juniors unlikely to be chosen?

They probably won't be taking any juniors since they took a good handful of juniors in the fall and none of them dropped

Quick Question!
Can you rush more than one sorority in the spring? Are most COB events on/at the same day/time?

Yup! You just have to see if their schedules are conflicting. Sometimes you will have to leave one house early and that could hurt your chances so plan accordingly.

bump! I like two of the guaranteed houses that will host Spring COBs. Is it a possibility to do two without missing vital events?

definitely! if you have a few different chapters you're interested in, you can attend multiple events in one evening. They're pretty casual, so it's normal for girls to go in and out throughout the evening. I would just say make sure you spend enough time at each house for you to get to know the women and vice versa.

For most-- check individual Facebook pages. Some houses make Facebook events that get shared a lot, some houses only release a google form you have to RSVP on. Panhellenic's site might not update regularly, so check the pages for the houses you're interested in regularly during the first couple weeks.

For DG and APhi-- ask someone you know in the house or email their membership person. If they are doing it, they don't have many bids to give out so it will probably be low-key or invite-only.

Remember, all the houses will have much fewer bids (less than 15 at most) than there are girls interested and coming to the events. Don't go in expecting to be a shoe-in or because you know someone that you'll get a bid. Relax and have fun, eat the snacks and drink the lemonade-- even if you don't receive a bid, you're meeting new people and faces and they could end up being new friends in your classes/clubs this semester. Good luck everyone!
