advice to all the pnms

So now that all the PNMs have gone through a second round of cuts, many of you have had your hopes dashed and have to reevaluate your options today or possibly tomorrow.

Please keep in mind that you can have a great experience in another house. All the sororities offer sisterhood, leadership, philanthropy opportunities, social activities, top-notch housing and exchanges with fraternities.

Don't pay too much attention to the rankings, which are flawed, or the all the mean comments on here (which are designed to make the other houses look bad and the poster's house look good). In reality, all houses support one another's philanthropies and we game day together. We are much nicer to one another when we aren't competing for you. Keep an open mind and you will do well.

Also-- stick it out till pref. It doesn't hurt anything to give the houses one last look before you decide they're not for you. It's rough. I got dropped from my first choice on Pref night last year, which hurt. But I found an amazing fit in the end.

I agree. Everyone in the Greek system is smart and special (they all got into Cal!) and has something to offer. Keep an open mind and you will find the right sorority for you.
