how the heck is dg considered a top house?

I'm guessing someone is probably going to argue that DGs have "money" and "sociability" which makes up for DG falling short in looks.............. but a lot of the girls in DG are on financial aid/grants and act awkward or weird.

Can't wait to see what people say.

I had the same problem when I walked into DG. I wanted to love it so much but the girl I was paired with was so awkward and I also just didn't get the top house vibe that I got when I walked into the other top houses. I'm just confused because I thought I would be expecting some gorgeous girls with a lot to say for themselves but then when I actually walked in I was like "ok cool is that it?"

had nothing better to do with my day and ended up here on page 27... Its 2016 and this is still accurate to me. I'm not even gonna mention appearance because people on here already have said everything and more than they needed to say, but I have met so many girls in that house that are just so nasty. They are so bubbly and nice during recruitment but right after, there are some terrible girls that are incredibly superficial and mean to any girls who aren't in their house-I would say more so that any Kappa's I've met. This is probably true in every house but I have yet to encounter one friendly girl in the house yet (to be fair I have only met about 10). In fact, I have overheard some DG girls in my classes saying extremely disturbing things about other houses and other girls. Just my opinion, but I know I'm not alone as this was a shared opinion among many girls in Greek life and gdi's. I generally don't care about rankings at all, but I really dislike the attitude of these girls in a supposed "top house." They can't ALL be mean, but I'm speaking for my experience.

I agree with True. I was sitting near some DGs in the library during recruitment period and they were sitting there actually discussing people they met during recruitment that night. Some of their comments were demeaning and cruel. They were so loud that they didn't care who heard them. I think they need to take a look at themselves and see what they think. Maybe its just a handful of the DG sisters but honestly based on recruitment feedback people are having serious issues with the vibe of the entire house which is quite disturbing.

This is a thread bashing on ONE specific sorority. I don't care how awful DG might be, but just look at what you're saying. Hateful comments towards a single sorority should not be tolerated here.
