Is it true AOPi is losing their house? Have heard rumors this is true. When are they telling the PNMs?

I asked (I'm a pnm) and was told that it's a landlord dispute that won't affect the house in any tangible way, aside from some technicalities. This seem so questionable compared to what ive hear/read

If they lose their house or can't do things in it, that's a huge deal and it can affect their pledge class. Of course they aren't going to be honest about it.

It's really not that serious. Nationals wants to take ownership of the house (since it's worth several million). The girls voted that they'd rather continue operating the house under the local alumni board and hold meetings elsewhere for the short-term.

also - not a landlord dispute since the local alumni own the house. you can read about it in the daily cal.

I liked AOPi but am also hesitant due to this. They seem like a way better house than AXO, which just seems like a very bottom house.

There's no point on joining AOPi and getting involved in something like this. Its a like a 10-year long dispute and it doesnt seem to be getting better any time soon. You're better off in a house that's slightly less better (Zeta, AXO maybe, or even Theta, Gamma Phi or Tridelt) because at least you know you'll have a normal sorority experience. AOPi will get all the leftover PNM's next year since they cant recruit of out of their house.
