don't try
by: JuniorFor all you juniors planning on rushing, not worth it. I joined my house as a junior and yes all the girls were welcoming at first, but I found myself having an awkward age gap from my pledge sisters while all the older mems already had cliques. Not worth the money or time, esp since you're already a junior and can just go to bars

From all these posts discouraging juniors from rushing, it seems as if this is just a rising junior faking it who is worried about the competition when rushing this fall.
Calm down we know there are only a few spots for juniors in each house especially top ones. No need to go on an Internet rampage. There could be transfers who actually do deserve a shot at greek life

Not all Juniors will experience the same awkwardness you felt with your pledge sisters. Sure everyone will have their so-called cliques by the time you get initiated but the more time you spend with other older members, the more you'll find commonalities and feel comfortable. Besides, don't let the age gap get in the way of actually becoming good friends with your pledge sisters.

That might be the case, but op has a point ngl. But in my opinion, whether transfer or rising junior, doesn't hurt to try. But do be aware of cliques
