These are the commonly accepted ranks to date. Argue away, but it won't change anything.

There should be many different "ranks" ranking different things. PNMs come in looking for different things in a house to join, NOT just who parties with SAE, Zete and Fiji the most, as some earlier raters suggest. The "top tier" houses mightn't be dream houses of every PNM and there are lots of girls who choose lower houses over joining them.

The top and bottom are pretty much established. It's the middle where things can change depending on fall 2012.

4 tiers who will be rushing pretty much the same girls:

1. Top = Kappa, Pi Phi, DG

2. Higher Mid = SK, APhi, ChiO

3. Lower Mid = ADPi, AOPi, AXO

4. Bottom = Tridelt, GPhi, Theta

There's a huge gap between Tridelt and Theta/GPhi who people often say aren't "real sororities."

I actually know a lot of girls who were preffed at better houses but decided to go w/ middle tier or bottom tier.
If you're hot, you're hot, it doesn't really matter what house you're in, you can still get into parties...the only thing that will be different are exchanges, which only freshman really go to anyway...SO, pick the house you actually like, not just based on reputation. After college no one will care.

agreed. If you are hot and stylish, it does not matter which house you are in, because you can get into any party you want. Although you will get comments like, "Why are you in GPhi/Theta/AXO, etc?"
