Everyone has their own opinion. All that matters is you're happy in the house you're in. Do ranks matter? Absolutely. But whining on this site doesn't matter.

is to talk to sisters you know about what their sorority has to offer. Granted, there are rules in place about talking to actives, especially closer to rush, but IF you can, I would go for that. Sure there are reputations, and fraternities and sororities have their own opinions about rankings. But there are also lots of other things to consider besides the usual appearance, partying, classiness, location etc. Those are all good criteria but you should also try to find out what housing situations are like in each house. And the emphasis they all place on certain things like Big/Little bonding, exchanging, diversity, philanthropy etc.

Everyone is giving ADPi a bunch of crap for allegedly hazing...Why doesn't anyone call the frats out for hazing?

No one calls the fraternities out for hazing because that's what makes them fraternities (at least the 5 or so that actually count). Any house that doesn't haze is more of a club than a fraternity

Most of the people in Cal's Greek system are relatively down to earth, and great people to befriend. Most of them are intelligent, respectable, and if it matters, attractive. The catty few, women AND men, are the ones who spend time on this site. Every chapter has something to offer depending on what you're looking for.

KKG PI PHI and DG have been and always will be the top sororities. there really isn't any debate

same with SAE ZETE FIJI and DKE being the top frats ... it's not going to change
