sorority comments

anyone who thinks SAE/Zete/DKE are one lawsuit away from being fully gone doesn't understand the situation because that simply isn't true. all it means is our nationals would have to deal with it, which they agreed to when they allowed us to leave. thanks anyways, girl in house we probably dont associate with

because no one cares about this stuff. even people in the greek system. most of these comments are by a few girls trying to make their houses look good and failing.

Will someone ever get cut just based on race? I see some of the houses have close to zero diversity...

Not something we can say for sure, since no one knows the selection process in another house. But based on the fact that diversity within a house doesn't change, most houses probably take it into account. But even if you're a minority, rush anyway! Despite the negativity on this site, most of the Greek system is welcoming and has great things to offer. Just for your info:

Almost all white: Kappa, Pi Phi, DG
Mostly white: XO, AXO
Some minorities, but the rest white: APhi, SK, AOPi, ADPi, Theta

Mostly minorities: GPhiB

another thing is just that the greek system is predominantly white... even among houses that arent "top" or whatever. really the only houses with a lot of minorities are gamma phi beta and maybe tridelt.

I know it sounds silly to talk about personality when the greek system goes into looks so much, but it happens. I know some girls who are minorities but have the chillest personalities and got into Kappa or an upper middle house. It doesn't happen often, but once in a while... then again, maybe its the "token" thing. interesting

Everyone stop flaming each other online. This site is just gossip. Stop trying to adjust the votes, everyone knows they're wrong.

I'd really like it if people would stop making generalizations about other houses on here. Everyone knows there are stereotypes, everyone knows appearance matters and all of that. But you know what? In every house, there is going to be a handful of shallow girls who have nothing better to do than talk badly of other houses on this site. That doesn't mean a whole house is like that. Just because one girl in Pi Phi keeps ranking 5s doesn't mean they're ALL snobs. Things like that. This site really only reflects the cattiest sorority girls and the rudest fraternity men. Most people in Cal's greek system are nothing like that. Instead of causing drama, maybe you should show PNMs that it's important to strengthen the system, not tear it apart. Talking badly of another house doesn't make yours look better. It makes the whole system look weaker. So stop.

Noe the rankings on the left are DEF A JOKE. XO learned how to self rank, which makes them look really bad, not really good. My opinion of that house has totally changed... They had my respect once.
