Top: Kappa, DG, SK, Pi Phi
Mid: ChiO, AOPi, AXO, APhi
Bottom: Tridelt, ADPi, GPhiB, Theta
I had trouble ranking APhi though. Some people say they're really hot, but some nasty rumors are going around and it's seriously going to hurt them in the fall. Even if the rumors aren't true, there will be girls that believe them, and they won't have a very nice pledge class. Down to drop =/

The girls in these houses are actually real girls. They aren't fake and mean just to be considered "cool." I've met some of the most genuine girls who are from these houses. Unlike the girls in Kappa, PiPhi, and SK a lot of them start off in the houses being relatively shy, don't wear make up or have the most expensive outfits. But also unlike some of the girls in the top houses, these girls don't seem to l"let themselves go" by gaining lots of weight, etc. once they are members. Overall, in my opinion, these 3 houses are great choices.

#264by: No
That's not true either. DG and AOPi girls definitely aren't shy. Most girls who end up in middle and top houses are not shy. That's a big turn off during recruitment, almost every house loos for outgoing girls. Yes they are real, but they also do have outgoing personalities and they do wear makeup.
#265by: yaaa
i agree, a few comments down is really wrong. especially dg, but also aopi/axo. most sorority girls are high maintenance, except the bottom tier. obviously kappa and pi phi and sk and whatnot are waaaay more high maintenence and wear way more expensive outfits, but dg is still very attractive and outgoing and puts a lot of effort into appearance. so do the middle houses (chi o, aopi, axo). the only sororities that are "shy" or dont wear makeup or whatever are like... adpi and the bottom ones.
#266by: Huh
That comment about aopi, dg and axo was totally off. Dg especially has really outgoing girls and A LOT of rich girls that dress really well. I'd say all houses care about their appearance a lot just maybe not the bottom ones. And honestly as much as I'd love to hate them, the top houses have some of the most amazing girls at Cal. These girls are really accomplished and genuinely kind. A lot of them get into the top houses because of their volunteer work. It is a huge overstatement to say that you can only find genuine girls in aopi, dg and axo. I totally disagree. & lastly the "letting themselves go" comment was kinda weird and I don't see it at all either!
#267by: Wtf?
Almost every sorority has good looking and outgoing girls that care about their makeup and their clothes. Not so much the bottom ones, but it's totally a lie to say that DG/AOPi/AXO girls are shy or don't try in their appearance. It's also a lie to say they're the only ones with "real" girls. Just go to rush and you'll see, instead of gossiping.
#269by: I disagree
I've seen girls if rom these houses at parties and when they have special events, etc. and during everyday life on campus. At parties, top tier and mid tier house girls can't really be distinguished that much, but in class and stuff girls in the houses mentioned (not so much DG, but definitely AOPi and AXO) are not as put together, made up and super well-dressed as the girls in PiPhi, Kappa and SK. Most are naturally pretty girls and don't dress completely unfashionable, so they still look better than the average girl, it's just that you can tell top tier from middle tier by the way they look on campus going to class and stuff better than you can at invites, etc.if that makes sense.
#270by: Yeah
You can distinguish between the tiers, for sure. Top tier is the hottest and most put together; middle tier is quite pretty and above average in overall appearance but not exactly the same; bottom tier depends on the house but it's really only the bottom tier people consider less attractive.
