sorority comments

The girls in all of the sororities here at Berkeley are great! PNMs should be happy to join any house. So many girls choose not to join a sorority at all, when they don't get their "first choice" ( which is often based on rankings such a those posted to this site and 5 minute conversations during rush...) Honestly! Each house has its strengths and if you are offered a bid to join one of these 12 groups of fabulous ladies, you have been offered it for a reason.

I think personality is a huge part of the criteria, but there's also involvement and spirit, which I think should count. If that's factored in more, then Kappa and DG would def be the top two houses. Pi Phi loses out on personality, and DG gets points for spirit. Theta gets points for classiness and personality. G Phi gets points for Spirit and Involvement. The middle houses arent as involved or spirited, and their classiness is average. PNM's think about how involved you want to be in the Greek community when picking a house too. Looks/Popularity play a role in exchanges, but there's also reputation and sisterhood.

PNMs should consider that reputations change over the years. So pick a house that you really like. Although, if you really really care about reputation, you should at least know which houses are rising or falling, that makes a huge difference after a rush or two.
