srat ranks for 2022

for everyone who’s thinking of doing spring cob ( they’re all great houses, this is just for freshmen/anyone who’s not familiar with greek life)

top:
kappa - super white & blonde, have tons of wealthy girls from the beach cities in socal (huntington & laguna) and a few chill poc girls, most traditional sorority on campus & selective about their frat exchanges

pi phi - like kappa, but has more athletic girls & slightly more diversity, they like to seem “quirky” and not as proper as kappa even though they’re on par with them, they’re known for their instagram aesthetic

dg - least problematic top house, has a good amount of poc girls and have a more wholesome vibe compared to kappa/pi phi but still predominantly white, their house is cute & well located

lower top/ upper mid:
aphi - usually go for ‘influencer’ type girls & have a super hot and diverse chapter, really involved in asuc, sadly known for paying frats to host & have a poor member retention rate, still considered a solid 4th after kappa/piphi, & dg

sk - party girls that mix with athletes/top frats a lot, not extremely diverse but they’re getting better at adding poc, a good mix of chill girls and super hot girls that should’ve been in kappa/piphi

adpi: pretty diverse & have a good mix of girls from a lot of different backgrounds, did really well during fall ‘22, more accepting than the other houses & girls have a sense of humor/party with top frats, they’ve been making some great tiktoks lately

chi o: also pretty diverse & similar to other houses in this category, known for being more chill & laid back, they go out a lot and get invited to fun frats

middle:
ds - dropped a little due to issues last year, overall fun house with a more accepting vibe & a good amount of diversity, mix of party girls & homebodies

zeta - definitely rising, has faced issues from losing their house last year and lives in a frat now, mix of cool girls & more quiet girls, probably one of the most diverse houses at cal

tri delt- cool group of girls who go out, definitely more on the chill side and not as catty as the typical sorority, almost as diverse as zeta & have a large emphasis on their philo


lower middle:
theta - really diverse and accepting as a house, has more ‘quirky’ girls that are not the typical sorority vibe, some of the girls party & many others don’t, have a pretty solid sisterhood overall

axo - similar to theta but with a larger lgbtq+ emphasis, definitely a lot more diverse & caters to people who aren’t as typical within greek life, nice artsy girls, some go out but are known more for sisterhood

bottom:
gphi - they’re a sweet set of girls, definitely more on the quiet side and don’t socialize as much, they’re pretty involved with their philo but aren’t seen socializing much with other srats/frats, could definitely do way better during rush if they practiced conversation

credentials:
im a junior & have friends in most of the houses & also rushed as a freshman so these are my objective rankings/reputations :)
