Top Houses vs Mid Houses

I’ve heard people say the “top” houses are shallow and stressful and from what I’ve seen it seems less like the members have bad personalities and more like the girls just do not do anything outside of their sorority. It seems that their house is their entire personality which makes the “vibe” seem shallow, compared to houses like ADPi, ChiO or even SK where it feels like the girls had other things and involvements outside of their house.
I’m curious of what other PNMs think about this and if is something that should be an important part in my decision.

To add on, I think all the other houses have other involvements too but I single out the ones people rank as “Mid” because it seems to be a debate of which group is better to be in.
