Are alumni / legacy letters still allowed?

I heard many schools banning alumni letters to hold weight since many people may have not have had the privilege of parents being able to afford to attend universities or being in a sorority /fraternity. Does Berkeley Panhellenic still allow it? Does it give rushees an unfair advantage if they have alumni/ legacy recommendations where others may not?

They are cancelled. Berkeley isnt like a Southern school.

Every chapter has different policies but most still do accept references (though they are not required for any chapter and you can have a great recruitment experience without any). The per-chapter information should be on the PHC website.
