From my rushing experience, compared to Theta, Tri Delts are more laid back and down to Earth. Both I would say, have nice girls, I just felt that Theta was a little uptight and everything seemed forced proper. Just my two cents. It's all about fit really.

I feel like Tridelts have a negative connotation around their name at UCB and Thetas are seen as more classy girls.

tridelta 100%. tridelts go out a lot and I've met a lot of fun girls in that house, but in my last 3 years at cal I've never met a single theta out at a party

Theta is frequently a target by Japanese whaling ships.

Tridelt has some rachet girls, but some cool ones too.

I'd go tridelt unless you are harpoon-able.
