joining a sorority as a sophomore spring semester.
by: flipflopHi, would going through the rush process for a sorority the 2nd semester of sophomore year be too late? I went through recruitment in the fall but dropped out halfway due to other things I had to take care of. Any advice?

Hey,
I'm also a second year and I didn't get a chance to rush fall because I also had other things going on. I only know some sororities do spring rush; try asking the girls from houses you like and see what's up. Honestly, I don't think it's too late--I know some girls who rushed their third year. It all depends on if you're ready to handle it or not. Happy rush!

Houses accept new members at all different points in their Berkeley careers. I think every grade is represented in my pledge class. If you want to do it, then do it! Just remember that for spring rush you'll have to have a better idea of which houses you're interested in rushing since you can't rush all of them.
