dear '13 rushies!

As a girl who has gone through the rush process before, the best and most important advice I can give to you is to IGNORE EVERYTHING ON THIS SITE. This has been my only regret as a rushie. If I was to do rush all over again, the one major thing I would do differently is erase all the stereotypes I had in mind about sororities. A lot of them may hold some truths but being in a sorority means SO much more than getting into the house with the best reputation. Just follow your heart and don't try to be anything but yourself. A lot of the things I thought sororities looked for in rushies, I was pretty dead wrong (least in my personal experience). So ignore all this internet talk - it will all become irrelevant as soon as you find your house - and have the courage to be yourself. Guaranteed, that will be the only way for you to find a house that you will be HAPPY in. :)
