which sororities offer spring rush?
by: bummedI know axo, chi o, gamma phi beta, delta sigma, and zeta all have spring recruitment, but I heard some girls saying that alpha phi does spring too. Is this true?

The first commenter has it spot on. Whether or not a chapter recruits in the spring depends on how many open spots they have, which varies every year with their fall pledge class size compared to other chapters, what the chapter’s member retention looks like that year, how many people graduate in the fall, etc. Some chapters might not need to recruit at all, some might have public events, and some might just have invite only events if they have a very small number of spots to fill. There are definitely chapters who have historically been more likely to have public spring rush events, but there are no guarantees.

APhi....the original shady ladies...they do year round COB. Yes, you heard it right. Year round COB. Due to ongoing retention issues for a variety of reasons (mainly poor sisterhood, bullying, harrassment etc.), sistas make the choice to flee/leave this house in droves. This results in open spots throughout the year which the ladies have a long history of filling by inviting friends/friends of friends/friends of friends of friends. Basically any person they can drum up who they can drag in the door to join. So, the trick is if (big IF here folks) you want to join the shady ladies then just cozy up to an APhi and presto you too might be including in the ongoing year round COB.

Haha! This is so true. Last year they couldn't even find a date to schedule group photos as every week new people would join! Love the name Shady Ladies...yes they are totally sus!
