sorority ranks and explanations 2018

by: dear PNMs

Top:

Kappa - most well established house, very blonde and wealthy, most girls are beautiful
Pi Phi - very similar in rank to Kappa and pretty much agreed on by everyone to be top, also blonde and wealthy but the girls seem to be louder and go out more

DG - tend to be a very involved house, a lot of them are from Socal and the LA area, tend to be louder and party
APhi - sometimes considered the “wannabe” or “try hard” house, girls are usually cool and pretty, party a lot

Mid:

Adpi - these girls are known for not going out a lot and being more wholesome, usually attractive and cool, typical good girls
Chi O - used to be the hipster house, but this reputation is sorta changing.. cool girls who are usually trendy and like to have fun
SK - the most bougie house at Cal, girls are usually wealthy and care a lot about appearances, definitely forgotten a lot

ZTA - also an involved house, really divided in the sense that some girls seem to be cool and party a ton and others are down to earth nice girls
Delta Sigma - a local house at Cal (used to be Aopi), girls are usually cool and fun, have probably the prettiest house
Tri Delta - used to be known for partying a ton, but the reputation has kinda evolved to a nice girl house, still divided between girls who party a ton and some weirder girls

Bottom:

Theta - super low-key house, girls tend to be quieter and introverted but really nice, never hear anything bad about them
AXO - girls who never imagined they would be in a sorority, most are hipster and SJW types, pretty cool but not in a stereotypical type a way

Gphi - some really nice girls, definitely give them a chance during recruitment! it is important to know they didn’t have a fall pledge class last year, but they still have a strong sisterhood
