DKE and Fiji are living off old reputations
DKE has declined hard
Fiji doesn't do anything
Chi Phi is generally low key, they aren't really hated
Only SAE is still hated for legitimate reasons
Fiji is just an isolationist house and DKE has hella minorities now.
SAE is the only conservative house remaining

Three different types:
-those who are already pretty hard and frat and don’t have to try hard to be it (dke, sigma chi, sae)
-those who are chill with just being themselves without trying to be frat (aepi, tke, du...phi psi?? ...but they’re recently trying now)
-those that try super hard to be frat & it’s cringeworthy to see (chi phi, ato, theta chi, sig nu)

there are some guys in every house who try harder than they should to be frat (mainly freshmen). that doesn’t mean the entire house is like that though?

@ummm Nah. People always say theta chi and chi phi “try super hard” but all they have to back that up are anonymous posts on greekrank... I’m an incoming 4th year and I’ve interacted with both these houses a decent amount and most other houses to a certain extent and see almost no difference irl... competition just tryna slam houses whenever possible even though it could just be randoms on greekrank tryna make the house look bad (which I guarantee happens more often than not). Why can’t we just be friendly

I love how this kid just wants to know which frats have a lot of controversy around them and parents probably wouldn't approve of. Meanwhile his response is all the insecure nerds of the cal greek system trying to bash each other over who tries to be too frat when in reality they all do

“Try super hard” lol don’t we all. Not in any of those houses (coming out as a phi tau) but y’all need to stop using that bs excuse to put certain houses down, there’s barely a difference in how hard houses try. Everyone tries hard lol it’s Berkeley
