Are parties on CalDay specifically reserved for people in Greek life? Or can we ask friends for bids?

if you're in greek life you get a universal bid. If you're not in greek life its going to be hard to get the universal bid because they are very strict. We all pay dues and are apart of these organizations and its not cool for GDIs to mooch off of their friends in greek life

I mean have fun partying in your dorm triple with weirdos or maybe go to bar with a bunch of 29 year olds, greeklife won’t let you in anyways

Haha, I'm gonna be at freshman at Cal next year and I'm a girl. Will my friends and I be able to get into any parties? I thought they were for perspective students to see the greek life since we are interested in rushing!

not at all that's actually the opposite. its a liability if you aren't a cal student (yet) and what you're thinking of is welcome week parties.

I'm in one of the "good" frats having a party and we would probably let you in. Also I know we are not honoring the universal bids and I'm pretty sure all the other good houses are also handing out their own bids
