sorority rush as a junior

Hi
I'm currently a sophomore here at cal.. I've been realizing that I haven't really found a community here and really want to join a sorority. I've met a few girls from adpi and I really would love to be part of that sisterhood. Would rushing as a junior be a bad idea? Would I even get into sororities?

There are more juniors that rush than you would probably think! I know for sure in my chapter that we have quite a few girls who rushed as junior transfers and a few who just wanted to wait before they rushed

If you're interested, I would definitely suggest you go for it! The only thing is that there are a few houses that can be pretty selective when it comes to anyone who isn't a freshman, so you should go in with an open mind and try your best to consider all houses. But overall, plenty of juniors go through recruitment and find themselves in great chapters.
