why does chi phi get so much hate?

I didn't pledge to the frat but when I rushed, I saw that the dudes were pretty cool and the house is actually nice on the inside. The brotherhood is also very close. Why do people hate it? Also like Phi Tau, so compare/contrast the two?

They aren't that bad looking but are super fake, dressing Vineyard Vines does not make you frat and throwing 3 parties a year does not make you a top house.
