hi!! I know for my house we are doing spring rush but i think we are announcing it in a bit! But also because we are procrastinators lol we haven't updated our officers on our website so just a precaution because i'm sure other houses don't have it updated either of the new officers. I think the PHC website/insta will announce it but i know at least for my house that we have it around the end of January so don't stress! Its typically really casual, you just go to the house for an event whether it be brunch, mixers or something and then if the girls think you are a good fit for the house the VP of membership will reach out to you to grab coffee or something and it goes from there! (you typically fill out a form like a google doc or something giving your name and contact info) Don't stress, spring rush is SO casual and not stressful at all unlike fall formal! Ask your friends in houses if they are doing spring! also there is a stigma that the houses that do spring COB are 'lesser' houses but ignore that because every house has value, parties etc. go bears go greek! hope this helps! :)

Keep an eye on Panhellenic's website! Houses that have open recruitment events will be listed there eventually. There may also be chapters that are taking new members in the spring but don't advertise. This is usually because they don't have many spots to fill and will just take internal recommendations to save time and money.

Some houses (AXO, Gphi) are having "public", more advertised spring COB. Other houses may only have 1-5 spots, so they will not go to the trouble to advertise. If you are interested in houses, the best bet is to ask your friends! My COB class was small but I loved it.

There are myriad private methods of Informal and COB recruitment that vary house to house. NPC allows this, and it is not 'bad' or' misleading' to use these methods.
Women are encouraged to attend formal recruitment for the overall greater breadth of sorority information available to incoming pnms versus COB and Informal. Formal includes a greater chance of open-minded women being placed somewhere among our groups (the NPC's RFM Rules apply here).
