what makes dg better than pi phi?

DG and Pi Phi are never put as interchangeable. Historically, it's been Pi Phi and Kappa at the top and then DG and APhi right under. Kappa/Pi Phi usually get the top girls and then the rest kind of either split between DG and Aphi. DG and APhi are both fun houses that party hard but they just really aren't equivalent to Kappa/Pi Phi regarding reputation, looks and social presence

Pi Phi / Kappa: "top of the top"; most people are jealous of these houses because they are by far the most competitive to get into; they have invites together and do a lot of joint events because most of the girls in these two houses are friends; really "hot" girls who go out a lot; a lot of athletes between the two houses; a lot of blonde and a lot of money... hang out with mostly Zete, SAE and KA
DG/APhi: traditionally the girls who didn't get into kappa or pi phi and want to stay somewhat relevant; APhi tends to hang out a lot with DKE and ATO (kappa and pi phi never affiliate with either of those frats); still semi-normal and social but might not be as attractive or as fun as girls in kappa/pi phi tend to be; DG was on social probation this past semester and might be for a lot longer.... had membership review and a group of girls got kicked out (strong nationals); however, both of these houses have a strong name nationally (most houses have these chapters.)

Kappa and DKE absolutely hang out what the hell. Maybe not so much this semester because of DKE'bhad Abbas semester these two houses definitely mess with one another. Did you forget or are You a freshmen? DKE could have very well been considered the top house until SAE came back

DKE literally only hangs out with like aphi. Kappa only hangs out with KA, Zete and SAE.... you must be a freshman to think that DKE is even cool outside of their sporadic gameday lawn parties

It's common knowledge that KA and the unaffiliated frats of DKE, SAE, Fiji, and Zete are the best houses on campus. Some of these houses are only known for gamedays (KA), others don't really do much at all (Fiji). But, these are all houses that are pretty similar to each other. They are tall, white, athletic and social. Whether or not they're cool or throw down has not affected the relationships these houses have had with top sororities like Kappa, Aphi, Pi Phi, DG, etc.

I'm not in either house but I went to DKE's Halloween party and it was mostly filled with lots of hot girls. Idk what sororities they were in but like they were hot, not just Cal hot but hot so I'm assuming there were some kappas there If kappa is the hottest sororitity
