are transfer students more often found at top houses?

Because like they were probably more social and too cool to get straight A's? This goes for frats and sororitys.

noooope it completely varies based on that transfers preferences. there can be less social and weird transfers just as often as there are "cool and more social" ones. I will say this though. junior transfers have the easiest time rushing because every house has a quota for how many juniors they take.... and not many juniors rush in the first place. so if you are a somewhat normal junior transfer, you have a huge opportunity to get your first choice because of the rigid quotas for juniors in place.

Actually it’s harder rushing as a transfer because there’s only around 4 spots per house for transfers and it was really competitive during rush. I knew a good amount of transfers rushing this fall who struggled a lot because there were so many people rushing and they were chill and normal people but got dropped by a ton of houses anyways. It really just depends on the individual person. Either way you should still rush and give t a chance! :)

there are way more than 4 spots for transfers. most houses don't even vote on juniors because they usually end up wherever they want. by far the easiest year to rush

my boyfriend and his roomie rushed (theyre in a "bottom house") as transfers but theyre very social/always party. It legit doesn't matter what house you end up because there will always be something for anyone.
