is it awkward being a cob?

I wanted to address the elephant in the room: is it weird being a spring sorority new mem? I'm considering it but would love to hear from people their thoughts. Is it hard to integrate into the house? Will I miss out on the traditional big/little stuff and the fun sisterhood things and get thrown right into it?
Just feeling a bit nervous.
