I dont think anyone but Panhell would have these numbers. If you're on panhell its a little worrying that youre commenting on this site.

It was recently mentioned, in a not-so-casual way, here on greekrank that one particular house might decide to intentionally hand out fewer formal recruitment bids than quota allowed.

THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT ZTA IS THAT HOUSE. NO ONE HERE KNOWS FOR A FACT THAT ANY HOUSE INTENTIONALLY TOOK LOWER THAN QUOTA.

It must also be noted that freshmen quota was 44 and uppergrade quota was 6 for the total quota of 50. If ZTA refused to take uppergrade new members they only missed freshmen quota by two (which then may easily have been filled by COBs).

if thats the case for zta then as a transfer student in another chapter I find that highly offensive. If they are refusing to take transfers when there are so many transfers here it feels almost discriminatory since most of us went to CC first for money reasons...

@uh You'll notice there is NO mention here of two quotas for ANY Cal house. That means no one knows whether ANY house for sure took uppergrade members. So be sure to add all the other homes into your little tiff against panhellenic. The post above yours also used the small but important word "IF" when referring to what ZTA may/may not have done.

just wow. sucks if they just missed quota but this person trying to say it was intentional makes it way worse. either way, not a good look zta.

Only re-stating what someone else posted here prior to the beginning of recruitment.

The two-number quota (posted/mentioned above by 'there is') means the second number is purely optional. No NPC house at Cal can be forced to bid any women the sorority does not deem qualified for membership. Likewise, Zeta may have actually "bid" fifty women and only 44 "accepted" their offer; therefore Zeta's number of 44 may constitute their "accepted" number. Lastly, a few sororities nationally are notorious for never officially/formally posting the exact number of women who joined their chapters. It is their choice to only formally give the specific chapter number of new members to panhellenic, not the general public. So the numbers posted here by 'OFFICIAL NUMBERS' may not be entirely accurate.
