was true is true still

kkg, dg, pi phi, chi o, a phi are the top 5 houses (that's not in order of rank necessarily). But if you're not in one of those, the rankings don't really matter honestly.

What benefit exists in these rankings? And why join a sorority if you don't feel like you belong or as if you get along with the girls in the house? There's no point joining a so called "top house" and wasting thousands of dollars if you aren't going to enjoy yourself. I truly hope the girls in these houses enjoy themselves but I also wish the same for girls in literally every other house on Greek row.

You do realize if people actually followed your advice then we'd have a GPB situation on massive scale and we'd be left solely with these five houses until the ranking process repeats itself and we choose a new bottom house.

At the end of the day, what sorority you were in isn't going to matter outside of college (aside from alumni connections which every house minus DS has so far), and in fact, outside of the Greek system at Cal I'm sure most students could not care at all about rankings which don't affect them.

The only purpose of this post was to boost the esteem of girls in so called top houses to make them feel as if they hold power over the Greek system at the expense of other girls. I've said it before and I'll say it again, alcohol is alcohol and you don't need access to a "top frat" in order to get wasted and have a good time, so again, I really see no benefit in joining one of these houses unless you like the girls in your chapter.
