where would you place zta?
by: CALBEERSI want to rush in the spring but I hear that a lot of popular houses don't participate. I do have my eyes on Zeta though. I talked to like three girls who dropped Kappa and Pi Phi for this house which surprised me. My friend also gave me a bid and I saw a lot of them partying at game day this weekend. Many of the girls seemed like they could easily be in "top" houses based on looks. So where does this house fit? I know rankings are stupid, but...

No hate at this house but I was a dropped pnm and definetly agree that this house is divided. As much as I loved my pledge class current members didn't really make an effort to get to know us and picked favorites early on, and I also got weird vibes from exec. Given time I'm sure it would have worked out but I couldn't justify paying 2000+ a semester for this house. That being said, I know plenty of girls who have found their place or "home" in this house and love zeta. I'm not saying this to throw shade but so that people rushing in the spring are fully informed.
Again, I really loved my pledge class and I hope this makes for a better future for this house but I know it wasn't the right fit for me.

Let's be real,I don't know of any house where everyone is friends with everyone. Some girls in zta are closer than others, but from what I know there's no bad blood among the sisters. Being new on campus and having a big house zta faces some challenges (no house is perfect!) but overall the vibe at zta is that the sisters want to make it work. ZTA strives to make things better while being chill and not caring too much about rankings.

Definetly a divided house (in terms of looks and social life) like you said but lines are blurred after this past semester so it's hard to say. You're bound to make some friends in a house of 100+ and Greek life is better than no life so..
