@ffr, FYI having seen all the lists please know that the OP is simply incorrect and has some unknown agenda to promote DG at all costs and bash PiPhi (in particular) amongst other houses. The entire DG is #1 is nothing more than a fictional 'story' at this point and while the house admittedly did do a bit better in recruitment this year they are far from #1. The realities behind DG's fall still exist to some extent and culture issues such as retention can take years to improve. In the case of DG it is early days yet to see if the culture has improved and become less toxic and people actually want to stay 4 years in the house. I think the OP is way ahead of themselves on saying DG is #1 and XO is mid tier. The XO story is well documented and only time will tell how it plays out. My bet is that XO will struggle a la GPhi and simply melt away due to the attitude and management style of the national. The bigger story in my mind is if we lose two houses over the next year or so then what happens? Endless posting of ranks which seems to be a daily thing here only serves to bring the entire system down and the reality is that the system is not in a great place at all. I honestly believe that we will rank ourselves into oblivion and the system will collapse in on itself over the next 5-7 years if we continue at the pace we have going and have more struggling houses than strong houses. Keep this all in mind as you self rank. The next time someone ranks a house please give just a second of thought as to why you are doing it? Are you doing it to make yourself feel better or make someone else feel worse? Because the more you tear down houses that are trying hard to keep it together and grow, the weaker the foundation of the entire system becomes. Remember what happens to structures built on 'pillars of sand'!
