Kappa/ DG (both back up)
Pi Phi (Pi Phi lost out to both KKG and surprisingly DG)
Alpha Phi/ Chi O (Alpha Phi needs to reassess, props to Chi O)
ADPi / SK (Both did really well this year)
DDD/ ZTA/ Theta (Theta did better than usual)
AXO / DS (DS is local, enough said)
[GPhi] (hope their sisterhood comes back in full force next year!)

This is just straight up false. They don't pick friends anymore than the next house ( like pi phi or dg), the majority of the pledge class is made up of previously unknown ladies who came through FFR.

Please stop with the race baiting. Seriously no place for that at Cal. We are better than that and there are WOC in the system and this type of commentary simply serves to diminish them.

DG please please please stop with the self ranking. It is similar to the APhi self ranking which blessedly has stopped given their recruitment performance. You did better than the awful reports you got last year but now you need to step up in the community if you want to knock on the doors of kappa and piphi. I actually think PiPhi did better than Kappa in that they recruited beyond just freshman and got a great mix of ladies. I think Kappa played it safe, didn't stray beyond freshman and did the old kappa friends of friends routine that defines their annual recruitment strategy. Its an ok strategy for kappa but its getting kinda old at this point and definitely not of the times and frankly is a bid disappointing given that its 2017 and we are Cal. Just saying.

many junior transfers, multiple sophomores, honestly im curious as to where you get your information or do you really make up anything in order to write a negative comment. the only "friends of the house" i can possibly think of ARE the sophomores who go to Cal.

There's a quota of how many juniors HAVE TO be taken so this is just plain wrong once again. Also the friends of friends rumour is just that - a rumour, that somehow persists. Kappa did very well in recruitment this year, despite everybody trying to put them down.

Why is everyone hating on aphi's pledge class so much? They seem like a great group of girls and definitely above DG. DG is actually running this site by saying they're above APhi and on Kappa/PiPhi level, but don't worry! We don't need DG self ranks to know how much of a mess they are. The retention rates will reveal the truth. XOXO
