ehh i'd say xo's pledge class is actually on par w normal, but they took in a lot more blondes

Theta is definitely too high. They and axo got the left overs this year. Gphi didn't take a class so they are alone last. Adpi and sk are on their own level with xo below them. Xo didnt do bad but definitely not as good as normal. Ds and tri delt did pretty similar but ds is a local. Zeta did almost as good as them but not quite. They did do better than theta and axo though.

Agreed that chio should be lower. Zeta is definitely not better than axo and theta though. At best those three are on the same level yet again. Talked to too many pnms who came out of zeta with awkward and uncomfortable conversations

No way - you need to choose your words more carefully. I'm sure Theta & AXO don't feel they got the leftovers. And from the pictures on Instragram they didn't!

I feel like it was more like:
PiPhi/DG
Kappa (ok technically you can move them up but their lack of diversity was a deal breaker for me. I didnt see any non-white girls)
aphi/adpi (adpi killed it)
sk/xo (xo and sk did pretty much the same)
ddd
ds/zeta (you can move ds down for being a local, but they got a better pc than the 2 below them)
theta/axo (i cant help but think theta is self ranking like crazy above because i was seriously unimpressed with their class)

piphi and dg had a significantly more diverse pc than kappa. its not quite on ddd's level of diversity but its better than nothing. kappa had ZERO people that werent white. Like if thats not discrimination idk what is.

I don't want to diminish the overarching dialogue which is that the greek system historically discriminates against WOC, that is true and disgusting, but also want to point out that highlighting certain pledge classes or houses outright as being ALL white, like literally not one person of color whatsoever, is a micro-aggression and white-washing to the WOC that ARE in those houses and pledge classes, it's just simply not true. So I don't believe your attacks here are as constructive as you would think. Yes, top houses especially are underserving minority communities, they need to do better, but it is wrong and hurtful to the women that are in these houses and are WOC or inter-racial to say that they aren't there just trying to have their identities and existences validated. Stop erasing and invalidating these women because it fits your narrative and get off of this anonymous forum and take constructive points to the Diversity and Inclusion Committee that exists in the Panhel community. We can be constructive about this without hurting or putting at risk the WOC in these houses

It is up to any WOC to choose her own home when pref is over and MRABAS are signed and bids extended. You might choose to downplay this or believe the WOC will intentionally choose a home more to her race, but all of life is a choice and a game between your ears.

Like this post but I'm curious about what power, if any the "Diversity and Inclusion Committee" has to do anything to make a/any private organization change? Nobody has an answer to this but my guess based on very limited information is not much can be done. Given the way things are I am not sure I would want to be a WOC in our community. I am also baffled by why people are so surprised that the NPCs haven't changed much in 100s of years. None of this is new news at all and frankly its all pretty sickening. We can say our system is 'casual' and 'relaxed' and 'liberal', but the reality is that it is none of these things because that is the way the organizations we sadly belong to are designed. The motto for the NPC should be "Change at your own peril"!
