note to pnms: the truth about chi omega
by: horsedelayedhellooooo everyone! I hope rush goes well for you, but I really hope the new pnms know what they're going into, because I really hope for their best possible outcome. Basically, chi o is based on a weak, divided, and artificial sisterhood after last semester when nationals showed up and kicked out a ton of members for alcohol, partying, social media, etc. Now, the girls who are left (there aren't many) are on a serious power trip and are so hypocritical that they think they are somehow better than every other girl in the greek system that goes out to parties and drinks. They're on social probation and the entire house has fallen to the pits after losing all the girls who are down to do fun stuff. Honestly please join any other house but chi o, this is such a toxic house and hopefully this acts as a warning for you all. I want the best for all the pnms this year!

Wow! These kinds of venomous posts right before recruitment help nobody. The facts of the XO situation are well documented in our school paper and can be read by anyone interested. To come on here and slam the remaining sisters might make you feel better but doesn't help a PNM at all and certainly only serves to damage the remaining sisters in the house. If you are angry and bitter because of what happened we get it. But place the anger in a different place please an not on here and certainly not now. No situation where a national comes in is ever easy or pleasant. The XO situation sounded horrific. I'm not in the house but had friends there and yes some of them left voluntarily. But please let the house move on in the same way I hope you can move on and put this awful situation behind you.

I'm with @marg. We need XO to do well in recruitment. Nobody wishes them ill so to see such an angry and hostile post is upsetting. I realize what happened is incredibly emotional but the house and its members need to move on and released members need to keep it moving. Have some consideration for PNMs and the difficult decisions they will be making over the next week. There is no place for such anger and hostility during recruitment or our panhel system. Please just chill. Nobody is denying what happened or its pain to many people but things need to move forward and the house will either survive or not. This too shall pass.
