pre-recruitment

Not sure what you are talking about other than houses posting to encourage people to register for recruitment. We aren't allowed to do any more than this. As to what we are doing now I unfortunately was just tasked with cleaning some toilets and replenishing paper. That is our sad reality right now. Do be excited but PLEASE PLEASE don't be nervous. Being nervous makes it hard for your and really hard for those of us trying to meet you.

not sure about cleaning toilets and replenishing paper... pre recruitment is a) a bonding time for the chapter before recruitment and b) learning (or getting a refresher) about all the recruitment processes and how each day is structured. also most houses use this time to take lots of social media photos and decorate the house for recruitment

I agree with the other comment made after mine but I was trying to get across that we are involved in many mundane tasks as well as the normal prep/bonding/decorating etc. I think its important for PNMs to realize that the houses are doing the work and we don't have a huge staff of people to get us prepared for recruitment. I honestly don't think most PNMs understand the sheer volume of the undertaking from the perspective of those that they will be meeting. I also thought it was kinda funny that the first task my team got was to check the toilets and I wanted to share that as its a bit comical. Gotta laugh at the detail oriented nature of our multilist carrying recruitment chair who is a SHE GOD and TOTALLY FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!! Fist bump to all the recruitment chairs and good luck to all!
