no social media presence

Hey guys

will it hurt my chances during recruitment if I have all my social media accounts set to private and don't have very many pictures / comments / whatever out there for people to see when they look me up? I mostly just use it for messaging people, but will it count against me since it's not easy to see what I'm like from a quick stalk.

Too late. You have already been stalked. Not to sound scary but your social media should have been made private ages ago. In the case of recruitment social media is NOT your friend.

why is social media not your friend during recruitment? what if someone has a positive social media presence? just curious!

i think no social media presence may actually be an advantage! that way the girls will have no preconceived notions of your personality
