chi o - what's the deal?

by:

I'm an incoming freshman and don't understand whether this house is on probation or not? Will this issue be discussed at orientation or not? I'd heard great things about this house but am not sure what to think at all. Could they lose their charter and then I would be SOL?

Pnms don't be scared to join this house because it actually is a great house with great sisters who aren't going to get their charter revoked that is just other sororities trying stop you from joining other houses which is what this site is all about so go into recruitment with an open mind and join which house you love the best

I agree with post about XO being a great house. TOTALLY GET THIS AND AGREE. But I truly am struggling with entire situation and how I would respond if a PNM asked me for advice on what to do. Very conflicted. I love my house and know how I would feel if I were told tomorrow that they are done here at Cal. It would be terrible feeling and while you would move on it would be rough, very rough. I totally feel for the sisters of XO as they move through this time as it is certainly a challenge. But the only thing I think they can do is to lead by example and show the community that they are committed to doing whatever needs to be done to remaining at Cal. Beyond this I'm not sure what else could help other than the passage of time. The longer things remain ok the more PNMs will be comfortable at looking at the house. Good luck XO, we are rooting for your success.
