If you're a freshman thinking about joining greek life at Cal, keep in mind that this site is almost 100% self ranks. The good reviews are self ranked, and the bad reviews are from other salty houses. Best way to find out what the fraternities and sororities are really like is through actually rushing them.

There really are a lot of good comments on here even if you discount for the self ranking. Compared to other schools the comments here are generally heart felt and surprisingly real. There is no substitute for making your own decision but I believe you can never have enough information or different opinions. Good luck with recruitment! Use your gut feelings and vote with your feet and from your heart!
