frat parties
by: ...Can girls get into frat parties throughout the year even if they aren't in a sorority?

depends on which frat you're trying to go to. bids are pretty much the only way to get into the top parties (you have to be in a sorority to get bids) but if you're trying to go to lower tier frats then it doesn't matter. so to answer your question, yes you pretty much have to be in a sorority to be admitted to most frat parties

Typically as parties fill up they get stricter in regards to bids so going earlier is my best recommendation or having a friend in the house get you in.
I will add, if you are rejected please handle it with dignity, frats are just trying to ensure that they don't get in trouble, and it's oftentimes pledges working the door who are just obeying orders. Don't take it personally, it's just a way to protect themselves. I've personally been screamed at for minutes when we're at capacity and can't let in more people.

Yeah it's pretty embarrassing to get caught with a fake bid and it's especially bad if you're in a house and the brothers know which house... however, the only time I ever got caught was because I photocopied bids for my guy friends and they're stricter with dudes x1000 and they actually checked. My bid was real but at that point it didn't matter lol. So moral of the story is if you're gonna fake it be female, be attractive, and get there early before they start caring. And if you're a dude, join a frat or be best friends with a frat star
