how much are dues on average?

by:

I wanted to know on average how much are due for sororities per semester and year because I want to rush but am worried about being tight on money. (OOS Student here; no aid) so I am want to know so I can get an idea of how much extra money I would need to set aside

honestly if you are poor you shouldn't rush, it is really expensive and you wouldn't want to be a liability for the sorority if you can't keep up dues. Maybe rush when you have the money or not all.

oh my...seems like something someone from alpha phi would say. Stay way from them, they are so judge mental. I agree with bs rush if you can. You can work to cagey money for dues, I do. It is possible

When the panhel guide is posted online check that for info on initiation, dues etc. Keep in mind though that that there are other costs that might come up to participate in activities etc. Our house lost two people last year from the most recent pledge class due to finances. It was so sad to lose them but the expenses are real and bills are due when received. There are some scholarships so check those out those as well. If it would help it is possible to rush second year and this might make it financially a little easier for you (only pay for 3 years vs 4). Be honest with yourself as nothing is worse than financal stress (either for member or the house-speaking as former treasurer!).
