Although Delta Sigma is doing a good job, I think Sigma Kappa is well above DS. Also A Phi is definitely above DG, DG has been dropping but still upper mid. Kappa and Pi Phi are interchangeable and will mostly depend on next years pledge class. And chi o above adpi alllll day long

by: hgmmmJul 6, 2017 2:38:33 PM

no I would say ChiO is dropping especially after their trainwreck of a year last year... wouldn't be surprised if their charter gets pulled soon.. INCOMING FRESHMEN: be wary of joining ChiO!! they probably won't be around much longer :(

I think adpi and chi o are about the same, but I also think chi o will be fine next year. I don't rlly see their letters being pulled

Chi o is definitely not getting their charter pulled at all and stop trying to get girls to not join a house that may be perfect for and girls if you love chi o go chi o and don't worry about anything about charters because that is not true just like a lot of things on this site

Joining a sorority is for life, not simply for your college years. Should you be bid and initiated by Chi Omega, your lifetime sorority experience will move you beyond Berkeley within a borderless realm of poised and exceptional women. Accept no less during recruitment than where you feel most welcome and comfortable among peers.

Why is Panhellenic supporting Delta Sigma when they are not a national sorority. Are the incoming freshmen going to be told they are only a local sorority?

Agree with confused. DS should be last. They might be able to give you a 4 year greek experience but there is no alumni network and no legacy with the chapter since theyve said they want to be absorbed by a different nationals. Most girls are going to pick bot houses with nationals over a pop up house with the illusion of a real greek experience.

Cal sororities have been very supportive of Delta Sigma (DS). There is no reason to believe DS will not grow and flourish. Delta Sigma women are legitimately participating in Cal's Fall 2017 Formal Recruitment. Delta Sigma has a physical home. They have, believe it or not, alumnae who are more than willing to assist them in their continuance as a viable campus sorority.

Cal has many registered pnms for Fall 2017. These lucky young women will be able to make their sorority choice between one local, and numerous additional national, sorority groups. Time will tell whether DS garners the recruitment numbers they desire to become completely functioning within the realm asked of them by Cal's panhellenic team.

Just because aoii alums are helping with their chapter doesn't mean they have an alumni network. You wont have alum chapters to join after graduation or any real post grad support system. Might as well go join any other club on campus.
