spring recruitment sororities?

Most houses will be doing spring, including top houses. They all had like a week long COB in the fall, a this year not only was turn out for recruitment terrible, but a lot of girls dropped. Go to as many houses as you can in the spring, even Theta/ZTA.

Just a note, ZTA has an invisible social calendar. No invites/exchanges at all.

Clearly Gphi or tridelt wrote that. Your house should be included too. Find a home and true sisterhood.

Anyways, back to your question.

A friend from chi o told me they were possibly doing spring a few weeks ago. As well as theta, zta, and i think tri delt. Just keep a look out for any events that sororities will be having for COB. Its a lot of fun and its a great opportunity to meet other girls. Try to go to all the houses and talk to the girls to see which one is best for you. Spring is a lot less intimidating than fall and so theres a better chance that youll get a better connection with girls.

And for future referance dont ever listen to any comments that degrade any of the houses theure just trying to rank up their house more and down the others. Find out for yourself if things are true because 90% of the time everyone is just on here to look out for their own house. Hope it helped and good luck! Go to as many Spring recruitment events as possible. Also, the more times you visit the same house, the better you chances are of getting a bid AT that house. That being said, its important to visit as many houses as possible so you can see the different personality/sisterhoods. Most houses are doing spring because both of ZTA/lack of COB and because overall the turn out for recruitment wasn't as good as last year. However, not all the houses are giving the same number of bids (XO gave out 3 TOTAL while Theta had close to 20. That being said, remember that you bond with your new member class, and you may prefer a smaller OR bigger one).

This is what happened last year:
Open COB: Theta, GPhi DDD, SK, AXO and DG
Invite Only COB: ADPi, APhi, XO
To get an invitation, you could try and email each membership director directly. Also, Invite only doesnt necessarily make a house "better" DG/SK both did open COB, and they're traditionally "higher ranked"houses.

This year: ZTA will do Open rush but will NOT be doing it at Tau house.

Also, in the Spring, houses may not reveal what dues are during recruitment. If dues are a factor, I suggest either emailing Panhellenic, or contacting individual chapter's financial chairs BEFORE rush. Dues may also factor into what houses you choose to visit. I had a friend who literally chose her house SOLELY because at the time, it was the one with the lowest dues (however, the ranking of prices changes every year) Good Luck!
