who is the culprit?
by: SherlockAfter seeing these rankings repeatedly pop up in one form or the other it's obvious who the culprit is! It's an Alpha Phi who is desperate to push her house to third or fourth position. While she is willing to concede that her house may be below Pi Phi and Kappa she's desperate to set her house above Chi O. It's not a Kappa or Pi Phi who may be defending themselves against allegations of exclusivity but are quite secure in their places. It's not DG cause these rankings are not favorable to them. It's not Chi O cause the rankings don't seem to push them forward. The other houses often don't really shift places either. Even the latest post supposedly by someone " not in Greek life" LOL have APhi portrayed as all positive! I mean girl, if you're going to do this, at least be smart about it! You are seriously undermining what the Greek system is about! To the girl who was not sure if she made the right choice in choosing Kappa over APhi.... You made the right choice!

Totally agree^ . Don't think this was meant to be " oh poor me, my house is not ranked high enough". It was more of a " stop with the ranking crap" comment.

I heard from a friend of mine at another school that greek rank pays students to post endlessly about ranking in order to drum up traffic. You can stop or slow this practice by NOT RESPONDING TO ANY POST ABOUT RANKING! Maybe if greek rank sees its traffic slow then they will stop this practice which impacts every school on the site. If you can tweet or blast on Facebook it might help stop this annoying practice!

OMG! Yes! It starts of being like probably real people posting. Then people lose interest so she just keeps posting, " wow", " really" multiple times to keep her post at the top of the discussion thread! OMG!

so if you suspect it's an aphi, I'm sure you have names in mind of who it is or else you wouldn't be calling them out? I have a lot of friends who are aphi and I can't think of any of the girls I know posting this stuff so but I don't know everyone (I'm in a different house that apparently is considered a "bottom" house according to this site). but just want to make sure you're not blindly calling out a house if you don't know a single person in it.

Don't know if they pay. But it sure does keep popping up! Hard to stop it but we need to keep the message out there that the rankings are all self rankings. That's really the truth! It's easy to tell who self ranks too! But, for sure these are not objective rankings no matter what the post says

I think it's both DG and APhi that are involved in the ranking posts. From 12 houses we can for sure narrow it down to these two. It's their position that keeps changing and they are the ones arguing here the most about rankings. Think they counter each other's posts. Its definitely those two houses

You are mistaken. I think they put Chi O, DG and APhi on the same tier which means they're equal. It's not a linear rank. Like they've ranked Pi Phi and Kappa as equal even though one house may be mentioned before the other.

Real Soro Rankings got pushed to the top pretty much the same time you tried to brush this off as not being Chi O. So yeah now I'm 100% that it is Chi O.

wow i couldn't agree more. adding onto that, if you need validation from this stupid site then you're in a sorority for the wrong reasons. it's not supposed to a popularity contest. this site is stupid so who cares if someone puts your house #5 or #8 lol it's on you to make your sorority experience what you want it to be and feeling sorry for yourself because God forbid your house was ranked #4 on greek rank last night is petty
