honestly
by: hmmmhonestly think about the friends you have in a house before you bash. as a member of greek life, i have at least one friend/nice classmate in almost every house. think about that person before you bash their house and sisterhood! i know that's the point of this site and in a sick way it's fun to read through these threads but if you wouldn't tell your new friend sally from your rush group this year that her house sucks then don't put it on here

Hi Hmmm, generally like your posts but why advocate not posting what I feel about my current situation with my pledge class? I pledged one of the houses that consistently get much shade thrown on this site. Now that I've been in my house for a month or so, I can truly say the shade is justified on many levels. So, to the person on the other thread asking about spring COB please be advised that there will be one spot available! In my view retention issues happen for a variety of reasons. In my case its an issue not so much how I have been treated but rather how others outside the house are treated and spoken about. This entire experience has been one of the most profoundly disappointing things I have ever experienced and been a real wake up call about some of the people that are part of the greek system. I don't know why houses have their heads in the sand about how to treat people.
I completely agree with not bashing other houses, but yet we sadly see it here on a daily basis. The same people bashing other houses are also contributing to the never ending ranking posts. Why? To make others feel good or to make yourself feel better? I think much information can be gleaned from the intense shallowness of the entire CAL thread on this site. Its all quite pathetic and reflects poorly on us all. Instead of talking about real issues in our community we have an inactive comatose panhel with an across the board absence of leadership and nothing ever changes. I'm out.

PS You should let your house know why you're leaving. Maybe they'll start to get the message.
