aopi status update - panhel are are awake?????
by: questioningDoes anyone know what is going on with the house? Can't believe there is no information shared anywhere? Why can't panhel make some kind of announcement or make some kind of decison as to whether other nationals should be brough in to expand the system? These large pledge classes can't be continued as housing will become an issue and result in internal conflict. I truly think we need some leadership on these issues and all we are hearing is the great sound of silence. WHERE ARE OUR LEADERS??????

Has anyone heard anything about what is going on with this sad situation? There was a fair amount of buzz on the Minnesota thread about how AOPi National tried to take the real estate owned by that chapter. In that case the Minnesota courts upheld the ownership of the real estate by the local group. Not sure if the ruling was appealed but given the awful reputation of AOPi National my guess is that it was appealed. I am also sad that other schools continue to be duped by the AOPi National and even allow them to colonize. One of the people posting on the Minnesota site actually called the National "scum". Wonder if there is some kind of escape clause in the membership guidelines where the great ladies at CAL AOPi could reaffiliate with another national!

A friend of mine from TN told me that the rumor down there is that the AOPi National is tied into the Dixie Mafia and their only goal is to scam money from their local chapters in fees and to steal real estate. Meanwhile the leadership of the national are driving around in expensive cars and flying private. The litigation trail of the national organization is well established. I honestly think panhel should undertake an investigation into the behavior of the national and make it IMPOSSIBLE for them ever to return to Cal.

Wow! Pretty sketch. Not surprising based on how the national behaved here at Cal. I do like the idea of making it impossible for them ever to be part of our panhel again. I believe the way they treated the members of the local here is unacceptable and I always believe that if someone does something once then they will do it again. I second the call to investigate the national further and get them banned from our panhel and campus so that they can never do what they have already done again. They are truly unethical morally challenged money grubbing thugs!
