top/bottom - bottom/top
by: what
What makes a sorority a top/bottom sorority? I have had exchanges with supposed "top" house sorority girls and "bottom" sorority girls. There is a mixture of every sort of girl in every sorority anyways?
What do people label so strongly certain sororities as bottom?

The "top" houses tend to be a high percentage thin white women, and the lower houses are more of everyone else. Rankings are nothing but catty girls who haven't grown up and realized that post high school life has more to it than looks and popularity tearing eachother apart, and amused frat boys throwing gas on the fire for lols. It is problematic in the sense that people who should be adults by now are so incredibly immature, and they perpetuate the idea that people who aren't white and beautiful are somehow less as human beings.

This post has made it here at least 5 times in one way or another and continues to try and put definitions around houses and people that can't be done. It can't be done because its impossible. Its impossible because each house is unique. Ranking uniqueness by definition is impossible. So, please find something else to add to the discussion. Ladies please don't get sucked into the vortex of trying to make arguments why you are better. You aren't better, you are just different. Yes, different. Embrace differences. Celebrate differences. Don't denigrate differences.
