I honestly think Kappa and DG somehow screwed up fall recruitment and had other drop out and hit the high road. I heard kappa took 6 in their super secret COB and dg took 9. So, they both seem to have retention issues which given all the comments about people not feeling welcomed at those houses and other people commenting on 'vibe' during recruitment events, it doesn't surprise me that this happened. I am totally opposed to super secret COB. The arguments that are used to support this practice are weak and I can't believe the ineffective panhel permits the extension of invites to friends of friends of friends. Frankly the practices is total crap and reflects poorly on the rest us as its yet another example of insider games and exclusivity.

Honestly 'No' the super secret COB discussion IS NOT A RUMOR, ITS A FACT! Not sure if you don't know what is going on in your own house, but please wake up and smell the crapa! Your sisters have been meeting with friends of friends and upping your ranks and you don't have a clue. Get real. I know whats going on and I don't even belong to kappa but watch what is going on as its pretty obvious. Yes there are panhel rules but with our pathetic no rules no leaders panhel it is possible to do super secret COB and yes it happens and yes it happens every year at multiple houses. So, its not a rumor, ITS A FACT! Ask at your next general meeting or better yet look around and see if you see any new faces at your next general meeting. The situation is so awful and blatant that I fully expect that next year dg and kappa will each go 5-7 below quota and then 'fill up' via super secret cob.

Not sure that's a solution. Better to fix what's in place first!
