Love to AOPi sisters! I hope you have a great attorney looking at options. I honestly think it would make sense to test the boundaries of all these antiquated rules and regs and simply find another national. Not sure what happened in the end with the Michigan thetas who lost their charter last year. I think the pledges all depledged and went with another newer house on campus. My sister who goes to school there said the situation was awful between panhel, national and the school. That story hit the national news because it was michigans oldest fraternity and one of thetas earliest chapters. There has to be a solution to your issues. If panhel and the school can't help you reach out to another national yourself or have your attorney do it on your behalf. There is no reason not to be part of cal panhel system due to the situation. I honestly wouldnt hold your breathe for your existing national to change their mind. Like the old quote says, "when somebody tells you who they are the first time believe them"! Best wishs
