rankings?
by: Real talkIdk about everyone else, but it seems like all these rankings are based off stereotypes from 5 years ago and are totally inaccurate today.. Like zeta and theta have gone up a ton. They're for sure solid middle with AOPi. Also it seems like tri delt and alpha phi have gone down a lot.

yeah I don't really think you can compare these houses anymore, they're all just really different. I think a more accurate way to measure it would just be to group them by similarity, and of course there are girls in all of these houses who fall into different categories or both categories or whatever.
Houses that care a lot about image & frat guys and partying:
kappa, pi phi, SK, DG, tri delt, XO, alpha phi, ADpi
Houses girls who don't seem to care that much about image. focus is more on sisterhood: AXO, theta, zeta, AOpi, gphi
Idk why the houses with a focus on sisterhood always seem to get ranked low though. Their girls are still equally pretty, sweet, and involved.

Why exactly does theta get so much hate? There are a lot of really pretty girls and that chapter and every one I've met has been super down to earth and chill. From what I know they're really involved and have a really strong sisterhood

Why do we even need to rank the houses? Can't we just agree they're all different and move on? How insecure do you have to be to feel the need validate your chapter with a number and put other chapters down? If you're happy there and fit with the girls, stay. In 10 years are you going to remember how your house was ranked or the amazing memories you made with girls in your chapter???

I preffed at pi phi and theta and I'm really glad I ended up in theta because the girls are all so sweet and happy. They clearly all really care about each other and seem really genuine. I don't know why any chapter would have anything negative to say about them.

Theta was bottom tier a few years ago but they definitely aren't anymore. Also heard they got a full pledge class? Impressive considering even kappa couldn't pull that off. Hmmmm...

A bottom house is one that really has no say in which girls end up in the chapter, so it ends up a completely mixed bag. As far as I'm concerned, Gphi is probably the only house that has that problem now. So basically, every house is just completely different. Different types of girls end up in different houses,this doesn't mean houses are better or worse than one another, they're just different from each other.

Gphi cut a lot of girls this year because they wanted more control over who entered their sisterhood. Just sayin. The people picking on Gphi are probably other traditionally "low" ranked houses who are trying to make themselves look a bit better. Not very in the panhellenic spirit.

^^ woahhhh. Yeah that's true... Honestly a way more accurate representation. Of course they're all different even within those categories though. But I agree that a linear ranking system doesn't really work anymore.
