This is maybe one of the most conceited things I've ever heard. Congratulations on succeeding in a meaningless and superficial ranking system that like 20 people care about. I'm sure that's very personally fulfilling for you.

Nope, not in a "top house", I went through spring recruitment because I cared about joining a house with a good sisterhood and philanthropy that I was interested in :). Like really, is it going to matter what house you were in at Cal? You going to put it on your resume? Grow up.

If we had the info it would be easy to tell...there was certainly overlap amongst the three houses for sure but I'm not certain it was as much as you might think. I just know our house and I'm guessing on the other two.

i agree. granted i've only met a couple girls in tri delts new pc and a couple in sk's but if the girls i've met actually represent their whole pc then i think tri delt may have passed sk. All the ones i met were hot and interesting in tri delt.

For what its worth I stayed with kkg and the house I went with through pref. There seemed to be alot of overlap between the two houses. Even though we were told to not speak to each other we did. There were alot of girls that were hesitant about going kkg this fall. Alot. Just in the group of roughly 10 I walked back with 8 out of the 10 downvoted kkg. That is saying something. All the girls that I walked back with were smart, articulate and pretty and I can see them being happy in either house. Not sure if it was a vibe thing or something about the overall rush experience that made people uncomfortable. But I know it was a super strange and awkward conversation when it started but once it started it was as if the floodgates opened and we couldn't stop talking. As far as I'm concerned I love my new pledge class and sisters and I don't regret in any way my decision to downvote kkg.

Who r u? An hour ago you replied on another post that you were unhappy with recruitment and writing to the dean, etc. but here you are bashing Kappa yet happy with your unnamed sorority.

Honestly, I'm b a c k! I was very unhappy with recruitment (and particularly what I heard about it afterwards) and I did write the letters I mentioned - they have been mail btw. All true. I am not bashing kappa, I am just explaining what I experienced and why I made a different choice. I think kappa did get a full pledge class but I'm not sure. So, there were people that clearly wanted kappa. Kappa is doing fine as far as I can tell and frankly anything I would say here doesn't make much difference to anyone other than me. I would think you would respect my choice to share my experiences. I was stunned to experience what I experienced during recruitment on pref night and that is why I posted it here. Rush sucked in a very big way for many people and I'm sure most would agree. Perhaps you disagree? Perhaps you have a vested interest in maintaining the facade that its all good now that recruitment is done and dusted? Not sure why you'd want things to stay the same? Some people were very happy and many more people were very unhappy. It worked out for me and as you correctly point out I am happy. What I am unhappy about is what I saw, heard and experienced. I am not naming my house as its irrelevant and also to protect myself from vipers like you!

I guess I also disclosed that at least 10 girls were involved with what I think is probably a rush violation. Oops. Gotta love a system that is as well run as this one! Wait, there was nobody watching and nobody cares!

Is it honesty or honestly? Is there another post I'm missing that I can't see? I agree with haha if she is talking about honesty post and I thank her for a laugh after a really crappy or krappy day if you are a kappa. Thanks haha. Will have to come here more often as its hilarious and fun. Need more red bull to make it thru the parties tonight!

Sounds like you care too much about superficial things. Plus at the time this was posted half the houses hadn't even posted bid pics on social media yet. Get a life.
